about

the screen was flickering or maybe my eyes couldn't take the light the days were idler i grew further accustomed to remission (pills did me fine) i climbed up URLs to look down at the garden of delight the rising murmur would supplant my nightly bouts of overwhelming dread you don't seem to understand what i say you called me daily i'd say often it was far too much to bear i hid the true extent to which i would resent the imposition (still called you mine) the screen got blurry see me scrolling down the world all unaware my tongue confused my body lead stoned and bemused more than a fraction dead you don't seem to understand what i say nights i got too high i would try to pray always no one answered maybe i misspoke or i lacked a cantor or i went straight to voicemail and GOD heard when they awoke my cheap guitar was singing praises while my head circled the drain and our communion kept me occupied with earning my perdition (swill dread and wine) i smoked and went inside what mystifies me now i can't explain the screen kept going dark i wonder if it'd stay alive inside my head you don't seem to understand what i say nights i got too high i would try to pray always no one answered did i speak too soft had i been more specific would then have GOD descended down and carried me aloft?
